Dubai Desert Safari Guide: Shared or Private?
The desert safari is one of Dubai's signature experiences, but the right format depends on group size, privacy, comfort and budget.
What a standard safari includes
A typical afternoon program includes Dubai hotel pickup, a 4x4 dune drive, a sunset stop and a Bedouin-style camp. Listed activities may include a short camel ride, sandboarding, henna, dinner and scheduled shows.
Shared safari
Shared safaris are priced per person and may place guests from different bookings in the same 4x4. Pickup windows are coordinated around several hotels, so flexibility is important.
Private desert safari
A private safari reserves the 4x4 for your party. It is often more comfortable for families and groups of up to six guests, while the camp and entertainment may still be shared with other visitors.
Language and pickup
