Day by day
Arrival in Istanbul
Meet and assist on arrival, followed by transfer to the selected Istanbul hotel and overnight accommodation.
Istanbul at leisure
Breakfast and a free day. An optional full-day visit may include Hagia Sophia from outside, Topkapi Palace, lunch in Sultanahmet, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar.
Bosphorus, Balat and Istanbul
Breakfast, a boat trip along the Bosphorus between Europe and Asia, the Spice Bazaar and the colourful historic neighbourhood of Balat. The remainder of the day is free or available for optional visits.
High-speed train via Sapanca and Eskisehir to Ankara
Breakfast and transfer to the high-speed railway station. Travel toward Ankara with panoramic views of Lake Sapanca, the Bolu Mountains and Eskisehir; transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Ankara and Cappadocia
Breakfast, then visit Ataturk’s Mausoleum, Ankara Citadel and the restored Hamamonu quarter. Continue via Salt Lake to Cappadocia for dinner and overnight.
Cappadocia
Breakfast and a full-day exploration of Cappadocia. Visit the rock-cut churches and monasteries of Goreme, Pigeon Valley and a panoramic viewpoint over Uchisar Castle, with stops at local carpet and handicraft workshops. Optional sunrise balloon flight and folklore evening are available.
Pamukkale
Breakfast and an early departure for Pamukkale. Visit ancient Hierapolis and the white travertine terraces and thermal pools known as the Cotton Castle; dinner and overnight in the Pamukkale area.
Ephesus, Kusadasi and Izmir
Breakfast and departure for Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities in Turkey. See the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian and the great theatre, then continue via a leather workshop to Kusadasi or Izmir for dinner and overnight.
Pergamum, Troy and Canakkale
Breakfast and departure for Pergamum to visit the ancient Asclepion healing centre. Continue to legendary Troy and see the archaeological remains and symbolic wooden horse before dinner and overnight in Canakkale.
Canakkale to Istanbul
Breakfast and departure toward Istanbul, crossing the Dardanelles region and travelling through Thrace. Arrival, transfer to the hotel and overnight.
Departure from Istanbul
Breakfast and transfer to Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport at the confirmed time. End of services.

The operating order may change for transport, hotel or site conditions without reducing the confirmed services.
On late bookings, the group train may be replaced by another departure time or an alternative domestic connection, subject to confirmation.
