Arrival in Cairo

Day 3

Cairo to Aswan

Depart Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Fly to Aswan, visit Philae and embark for lunch and the first cruise night.

Reach the island sanctuary dedicated to Isis and admire its rescued Ptolemaic reliefs beside the Nile.

Nile cruise embarkation

Begin a three-night full-board sailing through Upper Egypt.

Day 4

Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo and Edfu

Travel to Abu Simbel, return to the ship and sail north via Kom Ombo.

Travel by road to the colossal rock temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari near Lake Nasser.

Visit the unusual riverside temple shared by Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the falcon god.

Edfu, Esna and Luxor

Visit Edfu Temple and navigate Esna Lock while sailing toward Luxor.

Luxor to Hurghada

Disembark, explore both banks of Luxor and travel about 290 km by road to the Red Sea. Dinner and all-inclusive stay without alcohol.

Before you travel

  • The final hotel from the planned list will normally be advised approximately one month before arrival and remains subject to availability.
  • All arrival prices are based on Dubai International Airport. Transfers from Abu Dhabi or Sharjah airports require a supplement quoted on request.
  • The airport representative waits for up to two hours after the scheduled flight arrival. Guests delayed beyond this time must take a taxi to the hotel.
  • Triple rooms normally contain one large bed plus a smaller extra bed; three equal beds cannot be guaranteed.
  • The order of visits may change to match operating days without reducing the contracted services.
  • Rates are per person in US dollars, based on the selected room occupancy and season.
  • One complimentary passenger sharing a double room is offered for every 20 paying passengers.
  • A 25% high-season supplement applies from 20 December 2026 to 10 January 2027 and from 21 March to 10 April 2027.
