Choose between eight and eleven days
Begin with how much time you want to spend sightseeing and how much time you want to relax. Both eight-day Treasures programs combine Cairo with a Nile cruise, but their hotel-night allocation and sailing direction differ. The eleven-day Panoramic program adds three nights in Hurghada. Count arrival and departure days as travel days when comparing the programs; they are not interchangeable with full sightseeing days. Read the day-by-day plan before booking international flights, and ask our team to confirm that your arrival works with the cruise sequence.
Cairo and Giza: museums, pyramids and historic neighbourhoods
Cairo is more than a stop before the cruise. The published itineraries include Giza, the Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple and the Grand Egyptian Museum, followed on the stated city day by the Citadel, Muhammad Ali Mosque, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Coptic Cairo and Khan el-Khalili. Compare the scheduled visits rather than assuming every museum visit is identical. Entrance inside a pyramid is excluded from the published Giza stop. Lunches and dinners in Cairo are also excluded; hotel breakfast is included.
Luxor: understand the two riverbanks
Luxor sightseeing is arranged around the East and West Banks. The East Bank program includes Luxor Temple and Karnak. The West Bank includes the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. The published Valley of the Kings stop includes three royal tombs; do not assume every tomb or extra entrance is covered. In Treasures I, Luxor starts the cruise. In Treasures II, Luxor comes toward the end of the sailing and is followed by a flight to Cairo. In Panoramic Egypt, the next stage is the road journey to Hurghada.
Aswan, Abu Simbel and the Nile cruise
Aswan connects the Philae visit with the journey to Abu Simbel by road. Abu Simbel is included in these published programs, unlike an optional addition that would need a separate price. Edfu and Kom Ombo are part of the stated cruise visits, with Esna Lock on the sailing route. Treasures I sails for four nights from Luxor to Aswan; Treasures II and Panoramic Egypt sail for three nights from Aswan toward Luxor. Cruise accommodation has full board. Drinks with meals are excluded except where expressly included in Hurghada.
Hurghada: add the Red Sea without confusing the inclusions
Panoramic Egypt combines culture with three Hurghada hotel nights. The published stay is all inclusive without alcoholic drinks. The road stage from Luxor is approximately 290 kilometres, and the return to Cairo is by domestic flight. The Hurghada leisure days allow time at the resort; desert safari, Bedouin dinner, Giftun snorkelling and Orange Bay are optional activities, not automatically included excursions. Compare the full eleven-day route with the eight-day options if your main priority is archaeological sightseeing rather than beach time.
Budget, room occupancy and published supplements
The starting price is the Bronze Basic double or triple rate, not a confirmed final quote for every traveller. Single rooms have their own price; Silver has a separate category table. Domestic flight routes are listed in each package, while international flights, medical insurance, guide gratuities and unspecified expenses are excluded. The published visa and tour-leader, porter, driver and cruise gratuity item is USD 90 per person with assistance. A 25% supplement is stated for 20 December 2026–10 January 2027 and 21 March–10 April 2027. Compare your dates and room distribution before requesting a final total.
Language and booking: confirm the details that matter
The guide and airport-assistance language in these Egypt packages is Spanish. Travellers from Brazil and English-speaking markets can read the trip in their own language here, but the page language does not change the included service. Request another guide language explicitly and wait for confirmation before paying. The website booking form prepares an availability request; it does not reserve a live inventory slot or take payment immediately. Share your preferred date, number of travellers, room arrangement and questions. Our team confirms availability and price and then provides the secure payment link.
